1. Who we are

2. What we collect
We only collect the personal information you choose to give us: contact and conversation details such as your name, email address, school or institution, role, and any message or question you submit through our contact form, booking flow, or the Ask Leela assistant; assessment responses you provide through our leadership diagnostic or USP deep-dive tools; booking information needed to arrange a consultation; and standard technical data your browser shares automatically, such as IP address and the pages you visit, used solely to keep the site secure and functioning.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal data only to respond to your enquiry and provide the consultancy you have requested; arrange and deliver conversations, assessments, and follow-up support; and improve our services and the content of this site. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Legal basis
We rely on the following lawful bases under the UK GDPR: consent, when you submit your details or use the Ask Leela assistant; contract, when we are taking steps to provide a service you have requested or delivering a service under an agreement; and legitimate interests, for limited, secure processing necessary to respond to your enquiry and operate the site.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with any third party for their own marketing or commercial use. Your information is shared only with you and within The School Edge, and only as needed to deliver the services you have requested.
6. Use of artificial intelligence
We use AI tools to support our consultancy work, and we do so with the utmost care. Wherever possible, we anonymise or minimise the personal data we process through AI. When you provide a CV or similar document, some personal data may be shared with our paid AI service provider to help us analyse and prepare your materials. We use a paid, enterprise-grade AI service that retains and processes data in line with its own published privacy policy and does not use your content to train its public models. We never share your data with AI tools for their commercial benefit, and we limit what is sent to the minimum necessary for the task.
7. How long we keep it
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, including any follow-up you have requested, and then securely delete it. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we will remove your details from our active records.
8. Where it is stored
Your data is stored securely on our platform's infrastructure. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
9. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to be informed about how we use your data; access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to our processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time.
